Ahmed runs the international team for The Tentmakers of Cairo. They are working very hard to provide Tentmakers with more opportunities overseas. Ahmed used to stitch when he was in college studying business and accounting, and now uses his English and computer skills for the Tentmakers. He also ensures that opportunities are distributed fairly between all of the Tentmakers shops. Ahmed is so grateful for everyone who helps this Egyptian art.
Hany adores the needle appliqué work, and began it when he was only 12 years old–he is now 44. He learned this traditional art from his family and is working very hard to maintain this Egyptian traditional art by teaching it for everyone interested worldwide, as well as making more intricate Tentmakers pieces. Hany is so grateful for his wonderful life.
