The circle, a classic quilt form whose appeal has endured over the centuries, is a versatile form that can be rendered in a whole range of fascinating iterations. This class will explore three versions of this classic form and will offer multiple avenues for exploring them: The classic String Fan Circle, paper pieced from multiple strips of fabric; A Swirly Circle, which involves curved piecing (don’t be scared); and a Checkerboard Circle, paper pieced from constructed strip sets. All of these circles can be combined into one quilt or used separately. Patterns and instructions will be provided.
